Align the first metal roofing panel so that it overlaps the edging by 1 2 to 3 4 of an inch and is square to the roof. Each screw should be positioned 1 2 inch above the edge of the ridge cap and should be driven until the neoprene gasket on the screw begins to spread out from beneath the metal washer. Fasten gable trim with x inch metal to metal lap screws. Install the roofing screws vertically along each rib in the panel.

We use this z trim between the ribs attach it to the roof and then attach the final trim to the z. Butyl sealant tape should be placed parallel to the gable on the high seam of the roofing panel.
